Period: 2012 - 2015

The project, ended in October 2015, aimed at making Sustainable Development and Green Economy the new entrepreneurial frontier and business in Egypt. The objective of the project consisted in developing a joint/double MSc program on "Green Innovation and Entrepreneurship" with the cooperation of three European universities and five Egyptian Universities.

The experience acquired within GIEP and the faced challenges may represent an important case-study for universities which aim to replicate the same experience in other countries. Indeed, the project has brought to the implementation of multidisciplinary courses with a formal process of definition, recognition and approval.
Feedbacks and data have been analysed; this will enable to better orient and target the program, and represents useful information for further implementation in MENA region, as well as in the European context, where the approach to revise and update curricula is very rigid and complex.
