My name is Francesco and I am a doctoral researcher at Politecnico di Milano. My academic background is in Energy Engineering. My research focuses on road mobility. The topic is about developing a technology-rich, multi-sectoral and highly integrated modelling framework in order to tackle the challenges of sustainable mobility at national scale. Attention is given to infrastructural resiliency and environmental impact over the whole lifecycle of implemented solutions.

Other research interests involve exergy and exergoeconomics in the field of system design evaluation and optimisation. Moreover, I take part actively to a project, Blockit, that aims at recovering waste heat from computing power for domestic use.
