Federica Inzoli holds a PhD in “Energy and Nuclear Science and Technology” at Politecnico di Milano (2018), in the framework of Material Science for nuclear application, achieved after a Msc in Nuclear Engineer (2013) and a Bachelor path in Energy Engineering (2010), both at Politecnico. Between the Msc and the PhD she worked as a research fellowship at the Institute of Plasma Physics of CNR (Milan) where her research interests focused mainly on deposition and characterization of nanomaterials for energy-related applications.

After her PhD, she started working as a Project Manager for Jugaad Srl, the Social Branch of Serioplast Group (Italian industry of plastic packaging manufacturing). During this period, she moved to Cape Town where she locally followed social and environmental impact projects in the field of plastic waste recycling and circular economy. She joined FEEM in March 2019, in the framework of Africa REP Program.
